Mahdis Azimi

Mahdis Azimi is the founder of her own immigration law firm, established in 2019. She has been practicing law since 2015 and focuses exclusively on immigration law. Ms. Azimi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Ms. Azimi’s legal practice spans a broad range of immigration matters, including:

Ms. Azimi is a dedicated member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). She serves on the board of the NLG Chicago Chapter and actively participates in both the Chicago and Michigan Chapters of AILA.

In addition to her legal practice, she volunteers with several organizations across Chicago. She is also a part of the Justice Entrepreneurs Project, an initiative of the Chicago Bar Foundation that supports solo and small firm practitioners.

Ms. Azimi is a proud Iranian-American and currently resides in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. As the daughter of immigrants, she is honored to advocate for others on their immigration journey, recognizing the bravery it takes to leave behind the familiar in pursuit of a new future.
